Sydney Grace Yien, known by her moniker Sydni Tahra, is an American Pop singer and songwriter. Born in Oakland, California she started in the entertainment industry pursuing an acting career as a child. After realizing her passion for music at her church, she turned to music. As one of five siblings, Sydni and her older sister would practice harmonizing after school in the bathroom for its sonic acoustics. Later on as a freshman in high school, she began private vocal lessons and performed all around the Bay Area. She took interest in her high school choir in Danville, California and got a taste of what it was like to sing in front of larger crowds.

Sydni has performed professionally since her teenage years, both as a solo artist and as a member of several musical groups based in Los Angeles and San Diego. Besides her solo work, Sydney was a featured member of Girl Radical, an 11 member all-girl pop band produced by JC Chasez (N*SYNC) and Golden Globe winner Jimmy Harry (Madonna, Pink, Kelly Clarkson).

Sydni has also toured Europe with her R&B girl group Minx Mafia. They toured as the opening act for the multi-platinum band Jodeci. Major venues included Heineken Hall in Amsterdam, O2 Insititute in Birmingham, and the Apollo Theatre and Wembley Arena in London.

Currently Sydney is recording and co-producing her first solo EP in Los Angeles, Calif. She also holds a residency in San Diego, Calif. performing as a headlining singer.
